WEBGENESYS EARNS ECOVADIS SILVER MEDAL, RANKING AMONG THE TOP 15% OF COMPANIES EVALUATED BY THE RENOWNED PLATFORM
Webgenesys has been awarded the EcoVadis silver medal, placing among the top 15% of companies with the highest performance in the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) assessment conducted by the renowned international platform.
EcoVadis is a leading global sustainability rating platform. Using a model based on internationally recognized standards, such as the GRI (Global Reporting Initiative), the United Nations Global Compact, and ISO 26000 (Guidance on Social Responsibility), EcoVadis evaluates the effectiveness of corporate sustainability management systems, focusing on environmental, social, and ethical aspects.
The assessment, taking into consideration various aspects including people’s well-being, reduction of CO₂ emissions and responsible supply chain management, is based on the analysis of 21 indicators, distributed in four macro-areas: environment, human rights and working conditions, ethics and sustainable procurement.
In order to qualify for the assessment, each company is required to provide verifiable documents – such as certifications, reports and KPIs-supporting its sustainable practices; the information is supplemented with authoritative external sources, including NGOs, local authorities and third-party entities.
