WEBGENESYS OBTAINS ISO 22301 CERTIFICATION FOR BUSINESS CONTINUITY

The ISO 22301 standard, revised in 2019, requires the establishment of a specific organizational framework to protect the company from potentially critical events, mitigate their impact, and ensure business continuity. For organizations operating in complex technological environments, such as Webgenesys, this standard is particularly important for ensuring continuity, reliability, and a timely response to their customers.

The main requirements set forth by the standard include:

  • analysis of risks and their impact on business processes;
  • development of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans;
  • structured management of crisis and emergency scenarios;
  • training and engagement of staff;
  • appointment of a Business Continuity Manager;
  • periodic testing, drills and simulations to verify the effectiveness of the measures implemented.

This result is the outcome of extensive analysis, planning and testing carried out by our CTO department, a process that will continue in the coming years through regular testing and simulation exercises, essential tools for effectively managing any real-life emergency situations.

The certification applies to the design and development of application solutions including those delivered via Cloud SaaS, as well as support and maintenance services for proprietary and third-party software, and services related to the design, implementation and management of wide-area networks, system infrastructures and cloud environments.
