WEBGENESYS PARTICIPATION AT COMOLAKE 2024

We participated as one of the official partner of the ComoLake 2024 event which was held from October 15th to 18th on Lake Como, at the International Exhibition and Congress Center of Villa Erba in Cernobbio. 

ComoLake is an international conference sponsored by the Department for Digital Transformation that takes place annually and is now in its second edition, with the aim of bringing together experts, academics, and professionals from all over the world, to discuss scientific, economic, cultural, or technological issues of global relevance. These meetings are organized in prestigious and evocative locations on Lake Como, creating a stimulating environment that combines intellectual reflections and natural beauty.

ComoLake 2024 | The Great Challenge

The title of this year’s event was “The Great Challenge” and its aim was to bring together institutions, businesses, and universities from 14 different countries to discuss economic development in Italy and the entire Euro-Mediterranean area within a broader and more global setting. Seven main themes were focused on in particular: 

• networks and infrastructures;
• energy;
• mobility and transportation;
• banking and fintech;
• artificial intelligence;
• digital health;
• public administrations.

Over 200 speakers and representatives of Governments, International Organizations, Universities, Monitoring Bodies and leading companies in the sector had discussions during the four days of the conference to share different views about the new opportunities provided by innovation and the digital world, indicating what could be feasible paths, opportunities and responsibilities for States and companies of any size.
